Male Modelling and Body Hair

Male Modelling and Body Hair

Nowadays there is little reason to emasculate one’s self with shaving below the neck, or manscaping. However, if you are an aspiring fitness model, too much body hair, especially on your shoulders, neck and back can impede your chances of getting male modelling jobs. This is unsightly and is a completely legitimate form of manscaping.

A little trimming and sculpting of body hair is sufficient to achieve that well-groomed, after-dark look. Men may overdo their metrosexuality by trying to wax their chest hair and other areas, but this is not necessary unless you are a body builder. Keep away from fake tan also. Male modelling is about showing off your natural beauty. The clean-shaven long penetrated pop culture, but the beard is having a resurgence in recent years. Even in hip hop, which culturally promotes a clean shaven look, is leaning towards face furr. Thomas Street Studios is a Manchester based modelling studio.

Some women like the rough and rugged manly man, with a full beard, the bad boy, with his 5-o’clock shadow, while others prefer men with a wall-street exective look with the face totally smooth and shaven. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As long as you stay true to yourself and don’t follow the crowd you can’t go wrong.
